Christmas Tree Sales to Fight Hunger

Vale United Methodist Church is excited to host our 15th annual Christmas Tree Sale to Fight Hunger, which opens for business at 11am on Friday November 25th. Tree purchases and donations may also be made online by visiting our Christmas Tree Sale Site.
Hours of Operation (While Supplies Last):
- Friday November 25th 11AM to 5 PM
- Saturdays through December 10th: 9 AM to 9 PM
- Sundays: 11 AM to 5 PM
- Monday-Friday: 6 PM to 9 PM
- Saturday December 17th: 9 AM to 6 PM
Vale Church is partnering for the 12th straight year with the global relief organization Rise Against Hunger, which distributes food to hungry children around the world, often in the wake of natural disasters. Proceeds from our tree sale typically enable us to package 75,000 – 80,000 meals, which are shipped overseas to communities in need. We hope to host an in-person meal packing event on February 5th, as we did prior to Covid. If the pandemic interferes (as it did in 2021 & 2022), proceeds will still go towards ingredients for those meals. Sales will also go towards addressing hunger right here in Fairfax County.
The impact of this effort is real and tangible: Each tree purchased (on average) will provide 100 life-saving meals for hungry children and families.

Interested in spreading more Christmas Cheer? Consider sponsoring a tree for a family in our area who otherwise would not be able to afford one. A complete tree setup includes the tree, stand, and lights for $150, a standalone tree donation for $101, or partially sponsor a tree with donations in $20 increments. You donate, we deliver! And the best part is that the impact of your good deed is doubled, because in addition to giving a tree, proceeds on donated trees go towards meal ingredients.
Sponsorships are needed by December 10th so trees can be delivered to the families well before Christmas.
