We are located at 11528 Vale Rd. Oakton, VA at the intersection of Vale and Fox Mill Roads.
Embry Rucker – On Sunday, Mar 16 starting at 9 am in the church kitchen, come help make sandwiches and pack bags for the Embry Rucker Shelter! We will be done by the 10 am service. Sign up to help out here. For more information, contact Mary Morran at [email protected].
Easter Egg Stuffing – Easter is approaching, so it is time to start collecting donations for egg stuffing! We are accepting donations of nut-free candy and small items like stickers or pop-its. All are welcome to join us for stuffing on Wednesday, April 2nd at 10am. Our goal is 400 eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt after worship on Sunday, April 13. If you have questions or to let Miracle know what you plan to donate, you can talk with her directly or email her at [email protected]
Youth Group – All youth 6th through 12th grade are invited to gather together next Sunday, March 23 from 4-6pm at Community of Faith UMC. Dinner will be provided. Friends and neighbors are welcome. If you have questions or to rsvp, talk with Miracle directly or email her at [email protected]
Preschool Registration – Registration for Vale’s preschool is now open to all families! If you register before March 15, the registration fee is $125, and afterwards the fee is $150. To register, or for more information, contact Diane Willard at [email protected]
UMW Retreat – Attention all women of Vale, The Virginia Conference United Women in Faith is hosting a retreat! The Spiritual Life Soul Care Retreat will be held May 2-4 at Massanetta Springs Conference Center in Harrisonburg. This is an opportunity to remind yourself who the United Women in Faith are and what we accomplish for women, children, and youth. For more information and registration, see the flyer here
Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
