Rise Against Hunger – Join us on Feb 2 to help us pack 80,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger! All meals are paid for with funds from our Christmas Tree sales. Sign ups are available HERE. Come be a part of the huge impact that our community has on world hunger, and wear your Vale T-shirt to show off your Vale pride!
Hypothermia Shelter – On February 8, Vale is once again providing meals for the Hypothermia Shelter at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax. We need volunteers to cook and serve meals. Please sign up to help out on Vale’s website! Contact Vicky Alonzo at [email protected] with any questions.
Preschool Registration – Registration for Vale’s preschool is now open to church families! If you register before Feb. 15, the registration fee is $100. From Feb 15 to March 15, it is a $125 fee, and after March 15, the fee is $150. To register, or for more information, contact Diane Willard at [email protected]
Youth Group – All youth 6th through 12th grade are invited to gather together on Sunday, January 26th from 4-6pm at Vale. We will study, play and share a meal together. Friends and neighbors are welcome. If you have questions or to rsvp, talk with Miracle directly or email her at [email protected]
Nursery Help Wanted – We are currently looking for an individual to occasionally cover the nursery on Sunday morning during the 10 am church service when neither of our current staff members are available to do so. This individual should be at least 20 years of age, love children and ideally have experience caring for them. If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please contact Miracle Ryder at [email protected] or Bette Rutherford at [email protected].
Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. If you are interested, please contact the office at [email protected] or Miracle Ryder at [email protected].
Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
