We are located at 11528 Vale Rd. Oakton, VA at the intersection of Vale and Fox Mill Roads.
Youth Group – All youth 6th through 12th grade are invited to gather together on Sunday, February 9 from 4-5:30pm at Vale. Linda, Retired Professor from GMU, will join the youth to answer any questions about college. We will finish early so everyone can be home to watch the Super Bowl. Please bring a can of soup to share with the COF food pantry on this Super Bowl Sunday. No dinner this time, however snacks will be available. Friends and neighbors are welcome. The Closet – Our next volunteer days at The Closet are this Mon, Feb 10 and Wed, Feb 26. We are asked to volunteer a total of 12 hours or manpower. Shifts are 10-1 and 1-4 pm. This is a great opportunity for high school students who are out of school and want service hours to participate. There are plenty of fun and easy jobs. Vale Lunch Out – Our next Vale Lunch Out will be held next Sunday, February 16, at 11:45 at Famous Dave’s, located in the Oakton Shopping Center. Separate checks will be given. While reservations are not necessary, the manager would like a “guesstimate” of the number of guests by Thursday, Feb 13. Preschool Registration – Registration for Vale’s preschool is now open to church families! If you register before Feb. 15, the registration fee is $100. From Feb 15 to March 15, it is a $125 fee, and after March 15, the fee is $150. To register, or for more information, contact Diane Willard at [email protected]
Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. If you are interested, please contact the office at [email protected] or Miracle Ryder at [email protected]
Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
