We are located at 11528 Vale Rd. Oakton, VA at the intersection of Vale and Fox Mill Roads.
Hypothermia Shelter – On January 10 and 11, Vale is once again providing meals for the Hypothermia Shelter at Christ Lutheran Church. We need a few more volunteers to cook and serve meals. Please sign up to help out here!
New Wednesday Study! – On January 8, we’ll start our new study: Soul Feast by Marjorie Thompson. This is a classic guide to Christian spirituality. Our first meeting will be an overview, there’s boring to read beforehand. You should be able to find copies in your local bookstore or on Amazon. Please note that we will not meet if Fairfax County schools are closed
Youth Group – All youth 6th through 12th grade are invited to gather together on Sunday, January 12th from 4-6pm at Vale. We will study, play and share a meal together. Friends and neighbors are welcome. If you have questions or to rsvp, talk with Miracle directly or email her at [email protected]
Vale Lunch Out – Our next Vale Lunch Out will be held on Sunday, January 12, at 11:45, at Famous Dave’s, located in the Oakton Shopping Center. Separate checks will be given. While reservations are not necessary, the manager would like a “guesstimate” of the number of guests by Thursday, Jan 9. Rise Against Hunger – With tree sales over, the next step is our Rise Against Hunger packing event! Join us on Feb 2, 2025 to see the huge impact that our community has on world hunger. Sign ups are available here
Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed – We are in need of volunteers for the next few Sundays to help provide coffee and snacks for after our 10:00 service. Please sign up here to help out!
Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
