Since 2008, Vale Church has partnered with the global relief organization Rise Against Hunger to package over One Million Meals. Rise Against Hunger distributes food to hungry children around the world.  Proceeds from our tree sale enable us to package around 80,000 meals each year for a total of over 1 million since we started. The impact of this effort is real and tangible: Each tree purchased will on average provide 100 life-saving meals for hungry children! We use the funds to buy the raw ingredients from Rise Against Hunger, and then pack them into meal bags ourselves. We will host a packaging event for the community on February 1, 2026.

Our Christmas Tree sale is a primary fundraiser for one of Vale Church’s core missions: Fighting hunger near and far.

Vale Church is also continuing our “Sponsor a Tree” program, where customers sponsor a tree for a local family who might not ordinarily be able to afford one:

• $t50. purchases a package that includes tree, stand and lights.  
• $tbd funds just the tree
• Donations may also be made in $20 increments towards donated trees.  

Vale will deliver the tree to recipients.  Proceeds from donated trees go towards meal ingredients, so your impact is doubled. This is a great way for families who have artificial trees to support the hunger mission. Donate tbd!
