Christmas Tree SignUps – Our Christmas tree sales are coming to an end, and we need some help with the final push! We still have about 50 trees to sell, and customers are still buying. The SignUp Genius is up and running here. Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered, let’s finish out our sales strong!

Our Christmas Tree sale is a primary fundraiser for one of Vale Church’s core missions: Fighting hunger near and far.

Christmas Nativity – Next Sunday, Dec 22 at 4pm, Vale & Community of Faith will come together for a Christmas Nativity Play. We are looking for all ages to participate and offer their gifts as we tell the story of when Jesus was born. Please let Miracle know if you are interested in participating by talking with her directly or emailing her at [email protected].

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed – We are in need of volunteers for the next few Sundays to help provide coffee and snacks for after our 10:00 service. Please sign up here to help out!

Pajamas and Stories – This Sunday, Dec 29, we will have our Pajamas and Stories service, led by Dorothy Arbiter. This is a relaxed, informal service where you are welcome to come as you are, pajamas and all! There will be no Children’s Sunday School, as the service is for all ages.

Year End Staff Recognition – It is a tradition at Vale UMC to recognize each of our staff at year end with a monetary gift. This gift is our way of saying “THANK YOU” for their efforts in supporting our Vale community through their gifts and graces. Please prayerfully consider contributing to this fund as our staff have all gone above and beyond in keeping the light of Christ alive at Vale. Contributions may be made via Push Pay or via check. If paying by check please write Staff Year End Gift in the memo section of your check and place it in one of the collection plates or the box on the welcome table. Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
