We are located at 11528 Vale Rd. Oakton, VA at the intersection of Vale and Fox Mill Roads.
Trunk or Treat – Trunk or Treat will be held this Sunday, October 27 from 4-6pm. We would love for you to be present, decorate a trunk, or share any creative ideas you might have for making this a wonderful community event. If you are interested and available, please let Miracle know by talking with her directly or emailing [email protected].
All Saints’ Day – On Sunday, Nov 10, we will be celebrating the lives of the many saints in our lives and read the names of those who have gone on to glory in the past year. If you would like us to read the name of someone who passed in the last year and who has been a saint to you, please contact the church office by Wednesday, Nov 6 with their full name, the date of their passing, and a small blurb about them
The Closet – Our next volunteer day at The Closet is Wednesday, November 6. We are asked to volunteer a total of 12 hours or manpower. If you can help out, please sign up here or on the Missions board in the hallway. The jobs are easy & the organization helps the greater area in so many ways. If you have questions, contact Nancy Abramson at [email protected].
Turkey Bags – The Mission Committee will once again be providing our SE DC families with Giant Dollars for a Thanksgiving meal this year. To participate, we ask that you choose to donate to a specific bag or to a whole meal here. Donations must be received at the church by Nov 12 either by check or electronically through PushPay. Please clearly designate “Missions -Turkey Fund” on your donation. Contact Mary Morran [email protected] with any questions.
Christmas Tree SignUps – The season is approaching! The SignUp Genius for our tree sales is up and running here, and early volunteers will be getting some “thank you” gifts this year. Help us make this year’s sale more successful than ever!
Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
