February 29th Free Community Concert at Vale Church

 “My Way”

Bob McDonald Sings the Classics of Frank Sinatra

On Saturday, February 29th at 3 pm, popular DC area vocalist Bob McDonald celebrates the songs and life of legendary crooner Frank Sinatra, with an afternoon performance of classic hits from Ol’ Blue Eyes’ concerts and movies, worthy of any Rat Pack.

Bob McDonald is well known to local audiences as the singer of the National Anthem at every Washington Capitals hockey game for more than 25 years. A well-known performer in DC area musical theatre, opera, concerts and cabaret, Bob’s active-duty military role is as a baritone in the U.S. Army Chorus — a role in which he performs nationwide and overseas for our troops, and entertains presidents and visiting heads of state.

Accompanying Bob on Feb. 29th will be virtuoso pianist and musical director Tony Nalker of The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and The National Symphony Orchestra Pops.

Enjoy free food and drinks after the show. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted to help the church continue paying to bring in professional musicians. Vale Church hosts the concert series to benefit the wider community of Oakton/Vienna/Reston/Herndon/Fairfax, etc.

Please invite your neighbors and friends to attend with you. And, please help us get the word out to the community by sharing on social media.
